Last Monday Rep. Virginia Foxx, R-N.C., said, "I believe we have more to fear from the potential of [the Democrats' healthcare reform] bill passing than we do from any terrorist right now in any country."
Yesterday, Cathy McMorris Rodgers had this to say about Foxx's remarks.
“I would say it’s the difference between an internal versus an external attack. Yes,” McMorris Rodgers said. The Democratic bill “is internal. This is rocking our foundation.”
I'm quite certain the hyperbole is only there for political purposes. I mean, she doesn't really believe the health care reform bill is a greater threat than any terrorist, does she?
Let the rationalization and clarifying begin!
