On the way home I caught up with Steve, a fellow bike commuter I've known for almost two years, and we have yet another vehicle in the bike lane. It's been duly reported.
Given one million dollars to improve bicycle and pedestrian infrastructure in Spokane, I think the best value would be to spend $100,000 each year for 10 years on enforcement, primarily against vehicles that block bike lanes and sidewalks.
Building new facilities for pedestrians and bicyclists is an inefficient use of funds if those facilities are used for parking cars and trucks.

I think it is just the time that you go by there. The lane in front of that house is never blocked when I go by it. Weird.
