KHQ has an online poll--and we all know how accurate those are--on their main page that asks, "Do you think it's right for states to boycott Arizona businesses based on Arizona's immigration law?"
Maybe if we were less whitebread and/or more progressive....

Dude, you're saying we should boycott Arizona business? Boycotting businesses is only going to make it harder for Arizona's middle and low income families to feed their kids. Boycott the government or the politicians that passed the bill. Attacking another person's livelihood may have been cool back in the 60's when you were smoking dope, but we're in a pretty bad economic downturn right now. Put the blame where it belongs and get off your liberal high horse. And the immigrants are here illegally...there is a legal way to move from Mexico to the USA, and it doesn't involve a hike across the desert.
Perhaps it would be easier for Arizona's middle and low income earners to find jobs if businesses weren't exploiting the illegals as cheap labor. Why would most folks want to come sneaking into the USA if there was no hope of a job?
Anonymous refers to the difficulty a boycott might create for "Arizona's middle and low income families" - they elected the legislators and governor responsible for the law, so why shouldn't they see some result.
P.S. I am not writing from my liberal high horse. I think we need strict immigration laws and that they need to be enforced. But, this law only creates (requires) more work for local law enforcement officers and sets the stage for a multitude of abuses. Millions (mostly tax dollars) will be spent in the courts before it is found to be unconstitutional.
Economic sanctions are commonly used to apply pressure to governments to effect change.
