Here's the thing: I think that if this song wasn't encouraging kids to question the institution of high school and society it wouldn't be a problem. My wife taught poetry (particularly slam poetry) at both Mead and Rogers last year. Some of the poems had very adult subject matter and some swear words and it was no big deal. She had the regular teacher review the material beforehand and it was all good. In addition she gave out copies of a poetry journal in which there was plenty of mature material. All with the blessing of the teachers at both schools.
I think this had more to do with the teacher than the material. But that's just me.

I could be way off, but this strikes me as a teacher who wants to show how uber-cool s/he is.
