I went for a run following the route below today during lunch. Afterwards, I was just about to get in the shower when I reached to remove my hearing aids and discovered the left one was gone. Totally bummed out, I cleaned up, got dressed and traced by steps back to where I removed my hat on Riverside. No luck.

cost of these things. Believe me, I know all too well.
It looks just like this but with blue writing. My initials, H.G., are also printed on it.

As hearing aid owner, this is a bummer. Wish I could be there to search every step of your run.
We here at Elephant cycles applaud you for wisely purchasing a new bicycle prior to losing your hearing aid. What a setback that could have been.
Do you know the prayer to St. Anthony?

Good luck

Janet,
On the bright side, my batteries will last twice as long now.
Anon,
It would have been even more devastating than it is already. :-)
Judith,
My middle-namesake, the patron saint of lost things, has failed me in the past. I lost my mind ages ago. No sign of it yet.
Isn't there an app for that? A hearing aid is basically a transmitter with an amp and speaker, right? Why can't you just call it up and shout, "Hey! Down here! Pick me up!"
"Hey Gladys, did you hear that?"
"It's just more talking dog poop, Carl. Ignore it."
Proven: Barefoot running can cause sudden hearing loss.
