I ran twice last week, both times for two miles. And my ankle felt good. Yesterday and today I did four miles, two in the Vibrams and then two barefoot. My ankle isn't 100% but it's really close. But after four months of no running I have no callouses on my soles so I'm starting over in that respect.
Regardless, it sure feels good to be running again.

That's funny. I started running after 4 months off also. Only I started with a mile. My "long run" this weekend will be 2 miles. Glad to hear you're back!
I have the same problem! But then my doctor told me about a great new treatment, falaqa, that will toughen my soles for me.
Best of all, falaqa is completely covered by Obamacare.
I didn't even realize my bronze plan came with a sports medicine benefit.
Oh yeah, Obamacare is all about alternative medicine. You should try "the boats" nutritional cleanse. It's the best!
Clinically proven at Guantanamo bay.
Thanks, Mike. Hope your running is less stressful and more enjoyable.
