Steph and I were posted at the intersection of Napa and Sinto and were asked to watch the participants carefully because traffic on the Napa arterial was not required to stop. Fortunately for us, a couple of Spokane Police Department officers were posted there about 30 minutes later. They stopped traffic when needed and made it safe for everyone. I got to take a ton of pictures, make a couple of new friends, and see a lot of smiles. The photos are being uploaded to the Summer Parkways Facebook page as I write this.
